      "description": "Ok, so this is not a bug report but a question - still, it could be considered a bug that I have to file a bug report to get it answered.\n\n\u00a0\n\nI've downloaded and set up BDS on my LAN. It works - I can connect just fine from a PE device. I cannot see it on XBox Bedrock Edition on the same LAN.\u00a0 It says: \"you cannot play multiplayer because of how your microsoft account is set up\" - I've enabled all settings on aka.ms/accountsettings.\u00a0 I do not have a XBox Live Gold (or XBox Live?) subscription.\n\n\u00a0\n\nDoes Minecraft BDS require such a subscription (I don't think it should, given the fact that I'm not using any external resources provided by Mojang/Microsoft, aside from the account authentication server which is not strictly necessary).",
