               "body": "Reopening this as it still exists.  I think this is a residual bug of the feature whereby a player can place blocks 'on air' directly in front of them when standing near the edge of a block.  The feature was added so players could place a block in front of them without having to *sneak* (which wasn't added until ~0.12.1). It meant you could pillar up and make a bridge by placing blocks in the air one block in front of you. It seems the 'feature' also allows the block you are standing on to be broken as well (as the block gets highlighted), especially when you're using a high efficiency tool. ",

If you have any reliable way to reproduce this bug with bigger than 50% efficiency, please share repro steps :)",
