Matthew's been feeling under the weather lately and has been seeing some doctors to try to get things sorted out. I made this placeholder image in the meantime.

Sorry for not having anything new up on Friday! I meant to have this image finished sooner, but I'm honestly incapable of drawing anything quickly that looks even remotely acceptable. If you were able to meet Matthew when we went to No Brand Con or Animazement, you'll know that he has an incredible ability to make awesome and quick sketches of just about anything that comes to his mind -- the confidence in his strokes is quite evident. As for me, I got one request at Animazement to make a drawing for a fan, and it took me like two hours and still didn't look anywhere near as good as Matthew's two-minute masterpieces. It feels quite futile sometimes!

In this comic, if Kirby is Matthew, and Adeleine is Matthew's girlfriend, then I guess I must accept the role of Dedede once more, though I think I fit the role of Brawl-criticizer a bit better than Matthew's-illness-enjoyer.

UPDATE: Thanks for the image, Chris! Things have gotten rough around here and after yet another doctor visit (this time a specialist), I'm set tomorrow for an (deep breath) esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Sorry again about the lack of updates lately, but this is definitely the webcomic equivalent of "sick days". With any luck, they'll find and eliminate the problem tomorrow and I'll be good to go with BitF on Friday!
