Rayman learned a little English for this comic. That was awfully considerate of him.
The original image showing Rayman's Smash trophy showed him in this very strange pose. They cleaned it up later in time for the game's release.

So Rayman is in Smash Bros...as a trophy? This is really peculiar to me; why go through the legal hoops for a fairly minor cameo? Sakurai just keeps bringing in the mysteries and surprises.
Almost as surprising as that, though, is how strange this trophy looks. I mean, it's not just me, right? That half-lidded, wide-mouthed expression reminds me strongly of the split-second before a sneeze, so naturally I made a comic about that.
Either way, welcome to the trophy section, Rayman, silly expression and all! I guess Sakurai has a soft spot for guest characters with "Man" at the end of their name. Somewhere out there, Bomberman is crossing his fingers tightly...
Big announcement coming next update, this Friday. Please don't get your hopes too high! But do tune in.
