No offense, Gyarados, but how do you mess that up?

Confusion is just plain annoying, isn't it? It's like, I know I can slaughter this random encounter Golbat with a single Psybeam, but my dang Espeon keeps somehow using psychic abilities on itself!

I suppose it's obvious that I've been trying out Pokémon X this past week. Truth be told, it's the first Pokémon game I've bought (besides Fire Red) since Gold! Naturally, it's been a lot of fun finally getting back into the franchise, even though due to the heavy amount of work going on, I've still only gotten a single gym badge. My team is on a constant rotation due to the game throwing Pokémon at me constantly, but I'm quite fond of my Frogadier, Axew, and Honedge so far.
