495 - Comic Review E3 2013

'Hoy, small fry! The Fishman's back to provide your much-welcome mouseover text again, especially since someone was apparently sleeping on the job with it on the last comic! So these revealed games are all well and good, but where's the section on Wind Waker HD? More specifically, the section on me, and my lovely high-definition lips? I'm excited about this game because folks can finally see my scaly visage in its full glory as I dole out information on island quadrants and hungrily chomp down nuggets of fish food. So don't forget me when you're cruising around in your apparently-faster-than-before sailboat across the big blue this October! Birds gotta fly, fish gotta eat, after all! And with that...I'm off!

Where to begin?? It's been an exciting week, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed with a few reveals from the Big N.

Which certainly doesn't include Smash Bros. Holy smokes, I just about lost it when Mega Man--by far my most-wanted character in the game--made his long-awaited debut. And Villager! And the bizarrely inspired Wii Fit Trainer! Already, it feels nice to officially welcome these guys to the family, and I look forward to including them in the comic.

I seem to be in the minority in that I don't think Villager is creepy at all, but I did want at least one nod to the frenzy over him this year. Maybe Tuesday's comic wasn't that far off the mark...?
