I wonder if this is what happened with Mother 3 too...?
Balancing Waluigi April Fools gags is a bit of a difficult act--people came to expect it from BitF, but doing too much of it could get tiresome. The main joke is a cease-and-desist fake-out but I also threw in some Waluigi fun afterward (on the next few pages, in this case). I wrote myself into a corner with "249 - Nasty," since that comic hadn't debuted yet. The idea was to make people wonder what the heck I'd do in it...and the results are just a few pages away!
